Thumbs down The massive armbrace ban

After reading on the forum, it seems like a lot of people got perm. banned for that arbrace thingy. And it got me thinking, so there was a bug and they exploited it. And so what ? They saw a chance to make quick money and they did it. IMO a perm. banned is drastic and stupid. For every player they ban there is one less person for the rest of us to play with/against. I am starting to belive that this game really is dying, so why take away more players. I think a ban is okay, but a perm ban of all of those people is just too much....

tell me what you think, heck flame me if you want

I suggest going back and reading what that 'bug' was. You clearly have a poor understanding.

Ok and the fair players that use this game know that using an exploit like this has the potential to destroy the economy. Not to mention giving other players an unfair advantage over the average player.

Its a dupe and its cheating. No ifs no buts, Its cheating. You will get perma banned and if the dupers didn't know that then then its their own fault for being an exploiter.

I'm not sure if you know what method they used. No average player would ever find out, it was an intentional exploit of the system.

So people are abusing the game and you don't want them banned? What DO you want? Why should Anet necessarily listen your logic? Hard to open a discussion on some random rhetoric and feelings.

Closed because there are 9001 threads about this.
